
Three tryouts will take place over the next few months.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Oct. 21, 2025) – Corpus Christi FC has set Nov. 22 and 23 as the first professional tryout to find prospective athletes for our first professional season.
The first tryout will be held at our Corpus Christi Multi-Sport Complex at 5102 Old Brownsville Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Head Coach and Sporting Director Éamon Zayed will look to identify skilled athletes that can not only fit into his style of play, but fit the culture and mission of CCFC.

CCFC was established in 2017 by Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo. The club played their first season in 2018 in the Premier Development League under the umbrella of the United Soccer League. In 2019, the league rebranded to USL League Two. The Sharks have played in this league since and won their first Lone Star Division title in 2024. In that same season, the Sharks made their longest run in the USL League Two playoffs reaching the third round.
