Biography
Last Season: Jack spent the 2025 season in Northern Ireland playing for Cliftonville FC.
Before CCFC: Jack came up in the Sligo Rovers Academy eventually earning a place on the first team in the League of Ireland Premier Division. He made 34 starts, 39 appearances in total and scored six goals. In the 2019-2020 season Keaney moved to University College Dublin A.F.C where he was a captain and played for four seasons. Keaney then signed with Drogheda FC in 2024. In his lone season, he helped secure an FAI Cup championship. Jack joined Cliftonville FC for the 2025 season. Keaney and “The Reds” won the BetMcLean Cup (Northern Ireland Football League Cup) and reached the qualifying round for the UEFA Conference League.
Personal: Jack comes from a big sports family. He has two brothers and a sister; His parents are Paddy and Deirdre. Jack is a big sports fan himself, but next to soccer, he loves Gaelic Football and golf the most. He has his own YouTube golf channel where he promotes Irish sports stars and their stories though a game of golf.
