Vasic signs his first professional contract as Corpus Christi strengthens its midfield for the final playoff push.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (September 11, 2026) — Corpus Christi FC announced today the signing of midfielder Parker Vasic for the remainder of the 2026 USL League One season. The transaction was completed prior to the USL League One Roster Freeze on Monday, Sept. 7.
Vasic signs his first professional contract after a four-year NCAA Division I career at Northern Kentucky University and the University of Rhode Island. He joins the Sharks as the club strengthens its midfield for the final stretch of the season and its push for a playoff spot.
“We are delighted to add Parker, especially given the circumstances of losing three key players between now and the end of the season,” said Corpus Christi FC Head Coach Eamon Zayed. “Both Enock [“V’ Kwakwa] and Jackson [Dietrich] have been big players for us in the center of midfield, so to lose those two made it vitally important to add another player in the center of the park.”
A native of Middletown, Connecticut, Vasic spent three seasons at Northern Kentucky before transferring to Rhode Island for his final collegiate season. He made 16 appearances and 12 starts for the Rams in 2025, recording one goal and two assists.
“Parker is an all-around type of midfielder who can play as a six or as an eight. He comes highly recommended and has had a standout college career.”
Vasic finished his four-year NCAA Division I career with more than 60 appearances before signing his first professional contract with Corpus Christi.
“He comes to Corpus highly motivated to show what he can do, and we are all very happy to have him on board,” said Zayed. “Hopefully, Parker can help give us that extra push we all need in the final stretch of games to make a playoff run.”
Vasic will be immediately available for CCFC.
