The 24-year-old forward brings USL League One experience to the Sharks after scoring three goals for FC Naples during the 2026 campaign.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (August 19, 2026) — Corpus Christi FC is excited to announce the acquisition of forward Dominick Bachstein on loan from fellow USL League One side FC Naples.
Bachstein joins Corpus Christi as the Sharks enter the final stretch of their inaugural USL League One season. The 24-year-old brings league experience after beginning his professional career with Naples, scoring three goals during the 2026 campaign, including one against Corpus Christi earlier this season.
“Dom is a player we know too well about, having scored against us earlier this season,” said Corpus Christi FC Head Coach Eamon Zayed. “He is a big target striker who gives us a different look up top. I really like his profile, his attitude and hunger to prove himself, and as an ex-striker, I love working with centre forwards with that kind of ambition and passion to score goals and improve.
“From now until the end of the season, it will be my job to get the best out of Dom, and hopefully he will play his part in helping the team finish strong.”
Bachstein signed his first professional contract with FC Naples in August 2025 following a standout USL League Two season with Des Moines Menace, where he scored 11 goals in 12 appearances.
Prior to turning professional, Bachstein played collegiately at La Salle University and Drexel University.
The Pennsylvania native capped his collegiate career with a standout 2024 season at Drexel, starting all 16 matches and recording 12 goals and six assists for a team-leading 30 points. His performances earned him All-Coastal Athletic Association First Team and Philadelphia Soccer 6 All-Star honors.
Across his five-year collegiate career, Bachstein made 79 appearances and scored 20 goals.

“Speaking with Dom and evaluating his journey to the pro game, we know he’s a player and person who understands the value of hard work and commitment. For us, it was important to make sure whoever is coming into our locker room matches and upholds the standard of those principles every day. As the season has gone along, we’ve established a very tight-knit and hardworking group, and we’re excited to be able to add another positive piece to that for our late-season push.”
Bachstein will be immediately available for CCFC.

CCFC was established in 2017 by Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo. The club previously played in USL League Two, the nation’s leading pre-professional league, and won their first Lone Star Division title in 2024. That same year, Corpus Christi was awarded a USL League One franchise and will kick off its first professional season in 2026.
