Biography
Last Season: Nacho most recently played for the University of North Carolina
Before CCFC: Nacho recently completed a productive college career after moving to the United States in 2001. He began at Jefferson College where he was named to the all-region team. From there he transferred to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for two seasons where he earned conference tournament MVP and lead his team to back-to-back conference tournament titles. In his last year of college, he led the UNC tar heels in goals, assists, points and shots on goal.
Nacho is one three players on this year’s roster to play for the Sharks USL League Two team. Over two summers, Nacho collected 27 goals, a club record. He was named Lone Star Division Player of the Year in 2024 and 2025. He was named to the Southern Conference Team of the Year in 2025.
Personal: Nacho has a younger brother, Alvaro, who also played on the Sharks USL League Two team. Alvaro will play at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in fall 2026.
